A pair of shoes is 2 shoes

A pair of socks is 2 socks

So how come a pair of binoculars is only 1?

(Question to stump a Mom by her 5 year old daughter, Ellie.)

Amazingly I passed Round 3 of the Little Dreamer Apprentice Program and have started the Round 4 challenge this week. Round 3 challenge was “doodles” and believe me that was a challenge since I really don’t feel like I’m a doodle-girl at all. The competition is now down to 15 apprentices. Here is what my Round 3 doodle kit looks like.

(you must be logged in) Download some great FREEBIES and leave me some LOVE (pretty please). The number of downloads and comments really do count. (So I need your help!)

I made it through the week!

Big sigh of relief. I made the cut and am spending this week working on my Round 3 submittal. Each week they cut 5 participants based on their work, the number of downloads of their kit and posts using their kit in the gallery.

Round 2 is all about elements, you know, all those little things you add to your layouts to make them special, to help them tell your story. We were required to make something that had: glitter, metal and stitching (plus one more of our own choosing).

Head over to Little Dreamer to check out the new FREEBIEs. Leave some love and get creating!

I started Sunday. Not your typical Sunday for me. Usually I attend church with my family, but this Sunday I was in a photography class with my Dad and Jolene (who had come into town just for that purpose). It was wonderful to spend time with them doing something we all enjoy.

If you like the elements I used (note the stitched flowers, the alpha and the frame)–it can be yours for FREE over at Little Dreamer Designs

(you need to logged into their gallery). They are part of my Round 2 submittal for the Apprentice Program.
