“My 4 children, youngest to oldest
someday they will walk away from my home
but they will never leave my heart.”
This is my favorite photograph I have of all my kids together. I love how they are all lined up perfectly, I love their backsides, I love their purpose. It was taken on a family hike last summer in Lake Itasca State Park famous for being the headwaters of the mighty Mississippi River. We manage to get there at least every other year since it’s only about at 45 minute drive from Papa’s Cabin.
